Research

My work is in mathematical analysis and its applications. Research areas include:

• inverse problems for partial differential equations (applications in medical imaging)
• inverse problems in differential geometry (applications in seismic imaging)
• geometric invariants in pattern recognition (applications in computer vision)

Our research group is part of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Inverse Problems Research.

I am Managing Editor of the journal Inverse Problems and Imaging. The journal welcomes excellent contributions in these fields. For submission of manuscripts, please use this webpage.
