Statistics for Ecological and Environmental Research. Autumn 2004

Course code: 57076

This course is intended as an introduction to the use of statistical methods in ecology and the environmental sciences. The course will cover some of the common statistical methods used in ecology, with an emphasis on gaining an intuitive understanding of the methods, and their interpretation.

Students who successfully complete the course will gain 3ov as credits. Successful completion will mean attending the lectures, and completing homework.

More information will be given later, but if you want to know more, email me.

Times and Places

All lectures are 10.00-12.00 (actually, I'll follow the Finnish academic tradition and start at 10.15). The rooms are given below. The computer room is on the 4th floor.

In order to create total confusion, I have now re-named the lectures so that they are in the order that they were given.
