Division of Mathematical Methods of Information Technology - Educational goals


R
esearcher training has been an important goal in the work of the division. During the past 6 years the group has included 2-3 graduate students and, during summers, usually 1 undergraduate trainee. So far, 3 doctoral theses, 4 licentiate theses, and several lower level theses and project works have been produced. For more information see publications.

The Division participates in three national graduate schools: The Graduate School of Mathematical Analysis and Logic, The Finnish Graduate School in Stochastics and ComMIT, the
Graduate School in Computational Methods of Information Technology.
